Privacy policy

In short: this site sets no cookies, runs no analytics or tracking, has no forms and loads nothing from third parties. Personal data is processed only to host the site, answer your emails, send the early-access notice you ask for and, once early access opens, deliver what you buy.

Visiting this site

The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. To deliver and protect it, Cloudflare processes technical data of each request, such as your IP address, the page requested, the date and time, and your browser's user agent. Cloudflare acts as a processor under its data processing terms and may process these data outside the European Economic Area under the safeguards set out in those terms.

Legal basis: legitimate interest in operating a secure website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). These data are not used to identify or profile visitors.

The fonts and images on this site are served from this site itself; no requests are made to font, analytics or advertising services.

When you email

If you write to the address above, your email address and message are used to reply to you and, if relevant, to prepare or perform a contract. Legal basis: steps prior to a contract or its performance (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR), or legitimate interest in answering enquiries (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Emails are deleted when no longer needed, at the latest 24 months after the last contact, unless a legal obligation requires keeping them longer.

Early-access notice

If you send the "Email me when early access opens" message, your email address is kept in a manual list, used once to tell you that early access is open, and deleted right after. Legal basis: your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). To be removed earlier, reply asking for it.

When you buy the kit

Once early access opens, checkout is handled by Polar as merchant of record. Polar processes your payment and billing data under its own privacy policy. SteadyLatch receives the order details needed to deliver the product, provide updates and support, and handle refunds (such as your name, email address, country and the product purchased).

Legal basis: performance of the contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and legal obligations such as keeping accounting records (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR). Order records are kept for as long as the law requires.

Orders through Fiverr

The custom automation service is ordered through Fiverr. Fiverr's privacy policy applies to your account and order data on that platform. Sample files you share for an order are used only for that order and deleted within 14 days of delivery, or 48 hours after a cancellation.

What does not happen

Your data is not sold, not used for advertising and not subject to automated decision-making.

Your rights

You can ask for access to your data, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability, and you can object to processing based on legitimate interest. Write to the email address above.

You can also complain to a data protection authority: in Bulgaria, the Commission for Personal Data Protection (cpdp.bg), or the authority in the EU country where you live or work.

Changes

This policy is updated when the site or the way data is processed changes. The date at the top shows the latest version.
